Search bar, help mode and notifications
The search bar, the help mode, and the notifications are located in the upper right corner:

Use the search bar to the left of the user menu to search documents by keyword(s).

If you enter multiple words (without quotation marks), the spaces will be interpreted as "and/or".
You can filter the results list by dossier, status, assignee, and dossier templates. Click Reset to deselect all filters.

The help mode provides explanations of various DocuMine features. You can find it at the top right (next to the search bar), and in various dialogs.

Click the Help mode toggle or press the "H" key on your keyboard.
That will activate the help mode.
Hover over the user interface.
Numerous user interface elements are highlighted in orange. The help mode offers explanations for these elements.
Interactive elements
Click on one of the highlighted elements.
A new browser tab opens. It shows the corresponding explanations in the user manual.
Click the Help mode button again or press "Esc" on your keyboard.
That will deactivate the help mode.
Notifications inform you about current events that are relevant to you. The Notifications 
button in the top right is highlighted in red if you have unread notifications.

Click Notifications to list your notifications.
Notifications
You can manage your notifications in your user account. It includes a list of all the events you can be notified about.
